Energy-Boosting Sunflower Trail Mix

Whether you’re traipsing through the city or the backcountry, power up with this delicious trail mix that is high in energy-boosting protein, fiber, vitamin E, calcium, magnesium, selenium, fiber and vitamin C.

1 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
1/3 cup dried cherry-flavored cranberries
1/3 cup dried pineapple chunks
1/3 cup dried coconut flakes
1/3 cup honey-roasted almond slices



  1. Pour ingredients into a zippable, plastic storage bag (e.g., Ziploc). Add a plastic spoon into the bag as well. 

  2. Seal the bag then shake it lightly to mix the ingredients.

  3. Roll the bag to take out all of the air then seal the zipper.

  4. When you're ready to eat, unzip the bag and use the spoon to munch to your heart content and belly's delight!
